One of the personnel management principles for project managers is that of rewards: the need to recognize and reward project team members for good, effective work.
And that’s what I’m going to do for the next 2 weeks.
While academically speaking, my launching a new professional blog with me owning all the tasks may not comprise a project, we all know that it involves similar planning, deadlines, pressures, risks, etc. It just means that I only have me to blame if something goes awry!
So, having launched and feeling somewhat content with the launch, I’m ready to reward my project team — me — and take a nice holiday break.
So I shan’t be posting new posts until the new year. My thanks to those who’ve followed me on Twitter and left comments here and on Twitter. I feel really content and grateful for the support the #pmot Twitter community have offered me, including in particular, Josh Nankivel of PMStudent.com.
I’ll see you all again the first week of January!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
