I finally finished reading, “The Tyranny of E-mail: The Four-Thousand-Year Journey to Your Inbox.” Loved the book. It was a very interesting read about how communication has changed with the advent of, well, literacy, then postal service, then typewriters, then telegraph, and finally email. At each step, certain core assumptions and behaviors changed in our society. [...] Nothing’s “just business.” Business is about people. So business is personal. [...] Seems like everyone is talking about project communication and the soft skills of project management. One of the things that attracts me to the PM practice is the all-encompassing nature of it.
